About us

The Department of English of Haji Ajmal Ali College, Nilbagan was established in the year 1995 with undergraduate course. The department currently offers teaching in undergraduate course as well as two years HS course. The department from its establishment has been earnestly working for the upliftment of students in the field of English literature and language.

Mission of the Department

1. To develop the critical thinking of the student through the deeper analysis in the subject of English literature as well as language.
2. To enable students to go for further study in the subject through different academic activities.
3. To create an atmosphere of awareness among the students to seek higher study in the field of English literature as well as language.
4. To provide the students with latest development in the field of literature and language to go beyond conventional study of the subject.
